As you complete your study abroad program application, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with any country-specific entry requirements, including the timeline, required documentation, costs, and your consular jurisdiction (as applicable). It is not possible to apply for a visa until you have been accepted to a program. However, it is good to be familiar with the requirements in advance as some countries require very specific documentation or out-of-state travel which is made easier with advanced notice.
