2. Maximizing your experience:

• Read the World Citizens Guide: practical advice written by students for students who are living abroad
• Learn more about global awareness issues by attending A "Bringing the World Home" conference abroad organized by Americans For Informed Democracy; look under "News & Events".

3. Finding practical information:

• Consult your Program Specific Handbook
• Find out about the CU-Boulder study abroad health insurance

4. Preparing to come home:

• Go through the What's Up with Culture? an interactive program to prepare your return while still abroad; look at Module 2, sections 1 and 2.
• Consult the "Re-Entry or Coming Home Again" section in Guide to Living Abroad (Web format) or (PDF) for a list of challenges to prepare for as well as strategies to help you.
