Course Descriptions

NOTE: Credit earned on a CU-Boulder study abroad program is considered "in residence" credit. What does this mean?

Course work you take abroad is guaranteed to appear on the CU-Boulder transcript

All credit will count for something toward your degree unless:

it is above the limit of 45 hours of credit allowed in one department, or

it is a subject for which CU-Boulder does not give credit (i.e. cooking, physical education, etc.)

it is deemed not eligible for credit by a CU-Boulder college or department. A list of any such courses is available here, "Study Abroad No-Credit Courses" and on the "Once Accepted" section of our website.
